The Delran Green Team is collecting soft squishy plastic. We met our goal is to save 500 pounds from heading to the landfill in four months. We now qualify for a TREX bench. We want to keep this going and recycle more plastic. These are plastics can not be recycled with your paper, glass and aluminum. We are asking residents to save clean and dry newspaper sleeves, bread bags, Amazon bags, bubble wrap, produce bags, and overwrap on paper and other goods (bottled water). Keep placing water bottles and clamshell type veggie container in your recycle bin. We have collection boxes at the Delran Municipal Building and Ashley Crossing’s club house. Looking for a few more locations to install collection boxes.
