Would you like to make Delran a better place to live, work and play? Positions are available on the Delran Green Team. The Green Team works on actions to meet certification goals set up by Sustainable Jersey to fosters lifestyle changes designed to minimize environmental impact while protecting and maintaining our natural resources. Members are appointed by the Mayor and Council are expected to attend monthly meeting (second Wednesday each month), participate in Green Team events and take the lead on actions based on personal interests. Actions cover wide-ranging topics including, Arts, Brownfields, Community Outreach, Emergency Management,Health and Wellness, Land Use, Natural Resources, Public Information, and Waste Management. If you are interested in a position on the Green Team send an email to delran.green@gmail.com expressing your interest. If you’re unable to make this level of commitment but would still like to get involved let us know what you’d like to do. There’s plenty of opportunities.
