The Delran Green Team is planting a wildflower garden on the east side of the jug handle at Chester Avenue/Haines Mill Road and Route 130. Public Works has already prepped the site. We are looking for volunteers to help plant seeds. Planting is scheduled for Wednesday May 11 at 4:30pm. All planting materials will be provided but you can bring your own garden gloves if you prefer. If you still have your Delran Green Team seed packet from Delran Day, Art Nights and Earth Day at Millbridge School bring them along and plant them in our garden. Please park in the Panera Bread Parking lot and carefully cross Haines Mill Road and follow the sidewalk along Route 130 to the planting spot. We hope to see you out there. If you have any questions, please send an email to Delran.firstname.lastname@example.org
Today we were supposed to plant our wildflower garden at the Chester Avenue jug handle. Unfortunately the ground we just too wet for Public Works to bring in a truck to rough up the ground and deliver topsoil. We will try again next Wednesday May 11 at 4:30. Hoping to add a little color to Delran.
